Tau Omega Sorority was founded April 11, 1967 by seven women who prided themselves on sisterhood, loyalty, and responsibility. Our members strive to keep the traditions going so women for years to come can share in the same memories our current sisters have. We

are the oldest local sorority on the PSU campus, having just had our 47th anniversary! And we're one of the last recognized greek organizations in the school. How's that for snazzy?

Sisterhood is a priority!
Being a sister is more than just wearing Greek letters. You gain friendship for a lifetime!

Every semester we hold a formal, where we have food, dance, and awards. The awards are given to sisters

PHILANTHROPY

Every semester we each strive to complete 15-20 hours of community service. Tau Omega's official philanthropy is David's House, but we do so much more. Whenever we see an opportunity to lend a smile and a hand to local causes, we take it. We've helped with things like:

● Pemi-Valley Habitat for Humanity
● Blood Drives on campus
● Meals for Many
● Plymouth Senior Center
● Laconia Humane Society
● PSC Day
● PSU Volunteers

● Horrorfest in Berlin, NH

that have put forth the effort and dedication that makes us who we are. We also get together for movie nights, game nights, passion parties, and more! Words fall short to the feeling one gets when surrounded by sisters you can always run to. This is what it means to belong to a sisterhood.

A sorority is also a great way to transition from high school to college, and it comes with great perks.  Sorority members tend to be more active in the campus community by taking part in school activities. Women are also more likely to finish their degree if they join one. Our sisters have taken many of the classes you are likely to take at our university, and we're more than happy to help!
